TikTok Travel Vloggers To Follow For Budget And New Travelers

In September of 2022, the New York Times claimed that TikTok is the new search engine, at least for Gen Z. I believe this is accurate because when I am looking to research a DIY or tips on how to find the cheapest flight, I gravitate towards TikTok first. And because of my interaction with travel videos, my For You Page has provided me with several travel influencers and vloggers to follow. So here is my list of favorite TikTok travel vloggers if you are looking to travel on a budget.

Lexi's account is relatively new compared to the other ones I have been following, but she already amassed over 680K followers. However, one of her videos was the reseason I found my spring break resort. She posted a video about the travel section of Groupon which made me download the app and discover the all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic in my price range. Her page is full of great tips on how to make travel affordable.

Megan used to be on the social media team for United Airlines but started posting travel content videos. A lot of her initial videos had the theme "Tips From An Airline Employee" and would include anything from her favorite travel products to tips on how to book cheaper flights. She has been able to build her brand big enough to take on the role as a full time travel content creator and it constantly sharing her best travel hacks.

Janelle is a Delta queen and most of her content center around the brand. She shares new Delta card deals, how to re-book your flights for cheaper, and even tips on how to be a good airline passenger during the holiday season. If you are also a Delta lover and want to learn how to save money and travel often, she is a great person to follow.

Emery works on yachts and she creates content to show others how to get into the yachting industry. How does this relate to budget traveling? If you are looking for a job that allows you to travel to new destinations all over the world, working on a yacht might be the job for you. Emery is creating a lot of transparency in the industry that did not truly exist before, and showing off her major perk of travel because of her job.

I have been following Sara for a long time and let me just say she is so cool. Sara has worked to make a career of traveling and openly shares her experiences and how she can afford to travel as often as she does. From working for national parks to using Worldpackers to road-tripping the U.S. in her car, to now becoming a citizen of the Netherlands, she seems to have tried it all.
